Online consulting

I conduct online psychological counseling via Skype (user).

Online counseling is convenient for people in whose locality there are no psychologists who do not have the opportunity to travel to meet a psychologist, who have an extremely busy schedule.

For Bulgarians living abroad, online counseling is a great alternative - they conduct their sessions in Bulgarian and at prices valid for Bulgaria.

Weaknesses of online psychological counseling come from the speed of the Internet connection and the lack of live contact between therapist and patient, where some of the information is less accessible - for example, body language, which gives important signals to the therapist, is limited.

Therefore, clients who pose a danger to themselves or others may not be eligible for online counseling.

Guidelines for conducting an online consultation via Skype

  • Talk to me first on the phone to make an appointment and briefly talk about your counseling needs;

  • Join Skype at least 10 minutes before the session and check that the microphone and camera work well;

  • If you don't have a built-in camera in your computer, get an external one;

  • Get headphones - so the sound is clearer and the understanding between you and the psychologist - clearer;

  • Provide a quiet and free space from side interventions, so as not to be distracted. The psychological session requires concentration, calm and confidential environment.

  • In case of complications with the internet connection, I recommend that the session be interrupted and another appointment be made.

Sessions are prepaid by bank transfer.

Individual counseling

The work is an in-depth study of how thoughts and beliefs relate to emotions and how this affects behavior.

The idea is not only to understand why and how things happen, but also to look for alternatives to behavior and to develop new coping skills in life.

I do not give advice. My role is to accompany you in your search so that you can activate your own resources and find the best solution for you. With my help you will be able to see another position, to find out what is not working, what is the weak point in what you are doing. Thanks to this you can be expected to develop confidence and acceptance, love and attention to yourself, you will become better people, more mature parents, more effective professionals.

What are the reasons for a meeting with a medical psychologist?

I work by pre-booking by phone or e-mail.

The duration of one session is 50 minutes, a visit once a week is recommended.
